The highly anticipated final between Nigeria and host nation Cote d’Ivoire is scheduled to take place at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, this Sunday.

During a press briefing held on Friday at the Palace de la Culture in Trechville, Abidjan, Motsepe addressed inquiries about the potential for Africa to host the World Cup again.

Responding to the question, the South African business tycoon stated, “Nigeria must submit a bid. The Nigerian president (Bola Tinubu) will be attending the final on Sunday. I will engage in discussions with him regarding this matter.”

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima was present at the semi-final match where the Super Eagles emerged victorious over South Africa, securing their spot in the final after a tense penalty shootout.

The highly anticipated final is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 pm Nigerian time.
