Dike asserted that Ejiofor, purportedly acting as the counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, has become a source of insecurity in Oraifite. The community leaders claimed that Ejiofor recruits local youths and utilizes them to instigate violence, causing disruptions within the community.

In response to the allegations, the community leaders announced the indefinite suspension of two significant cultural festivals, Otu Eke and Otu Ube, which they believe have contributed to the rise in insecurity. They pointed to Ejiofor’s perceived role as an enabler of violence within the community, expressing concern over the negative influence he has on local youths.

The community leaders called on the Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, to disregard a petition by Ejiofor accusing Sir Emeka Offor of planning to assassinate him. Furthermore, they urged authorities to investigate Ejiofor’s alleged involvement in fostering insecurity in Anambra State.

In response to the allegations, Ejiofor denied any wrongdoing and dismissed the community leaders as mere puppets of Emeka Offor, asserting that they serve Offor’s personal interests rather than representing the voice of the Oraifite community.
