This reversal occurred within 24 hours of Agada facing suspension by executive members of APC Ehaje Ward 1 in Ogbadibo Local Government Area. The ward chairman, Godwin Abah, and seven others cited Agada’s alleged involvement in anti-party activities and his refusal to respond to their inquiries as reasons for the suspension.
In response, Agada, undeterred, asserted that the individual who signed the statement had lost leadership status since December 10, 2023. Defending himself, he emphasized the need to follow party procedures outlined in the party’s constitution when disciplining members. The APC NWC, reacting to media reports, directed the suspension and related actions to be set aside pending further review by the committee, affirming Agada as a legitimate member and chairman of the Benue State chapter.
