AVM Gbolahan Adekunle (Rtd), the former Chief of Training and Operations in the Nigeria Air Force, has urged retired General Danjuma Ali-Keffi to address any issues he has with his dismissal from the Nigerian Army. Adekunle’s statement comes in response to Ali-Keffi’s allegations linking the plane crash that killed former Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru to terror sponsors.

During an interview with Arise News on Thursday, Adekunle expressed his disagreement with leaving a position on bad terms and suggested resolving issues within the established systems. He emphasized that if Ali-Keffi believes he has problems with the army, he should handle them professionally and within the military structure.

Adekunle remarked, “If General Ali-Keffi has issues, as a professional colleague, I will expect him to take it up with the system that raised him.” He also expressed concern about the image of the late Lt Gen Attahiru being dragged into controversies, emphasizing the need for respectful resolution and allowing the deceased officer to rest in peace.
