Renowned music star DJ Big N has sounded the alarm over the rising threat of kidnappings in Lagos, cautioning residents to remain vigilant. In his Instagram post, DJ Big N wrote, “I repeat, please be very vigilant of your surroundings. Especially while driving or walking in Lagos. I can categorically tell you that kidnappers are now in Lagos. Walk in groups. And make sure your car doors are pinned down. Protect yourself and your loved ones.”

The musician’s warning comes amid growing concerns about the security situation in Lagos and the need for residents to take precautionary measures. Incidents of kidnapping have been on the rise in various parts of Nigeria, prompting increased efforts from both the government and citizens to address the security challenges.

In a related development, the Abia State Police reportedly discovered a tunnel used by kidnappers to transport victims into the bush. Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, disclosed that the tunnel was located in the Lekwesi community, Umunneochi LGA.

The police commissioner led a team to investigate two schools in the community that had been taken over by kidnappers. The authorities are taking steps to address security concerns and fortify vulnerable areas to prevent criminal activities.
