In a statement signed by Ambassador Blessing Akinlosotu and Dr. Raymond Edoh, the executive director and executive secretary respectively, NCSCN acknowledged that Tunji-Ojo’s initiative aims to bolster security through prompt identification of fraudulent passport applications using smart document verification officers stationed nationwide.
The newly implemented system ensures a meticulous examination of passport applications across all Local Government Areas, making a valuable contribution to the reinforcement of national security. This enhanced passport application process signifies a significant stride in the improvement of the country’s security and migration frameworks.
