The unexpected allegiance expressed by a prominent PDP member to the President and leader of the APC has sparked curiosity among political observers. Adebutu stressed the need to stop intimidation, highlighting the unity of diverse political affiliations under the common thread of being Tinubu’s progeny.

Addressing allegations of money laundering against him, Adebutu defended his actions, stating that he provides financial support to the people with his own money, while hinting that government funds are being misused.

The party’s secretary, Sunday Solarin, echoed Adebutu’s sentiments, declaring that the PDP is too formidable to be intimidated by the APC. Solarin attributed the hostility from the ruling party to the ongoing legal matters before the Supreme Court, expressing confidence in the party’s victory. He asserted that the PDP had won the election and anticipated a favorable outcome at the Supreme Court, citing policy errors in previous judgments and expressing optimism about the evidence-based presentation in the upcoming legal proceedings.
