Breaking: Federal And State Governments-Donate N44.853 Trillion Budgets To Tackle Rising-Hardship

The total figure might see an increase, given that only the budget proposals for the Federal Government and 17 states have been officially passed into law as of the latest update. While the 36 states have proposed N16.065 trillion, the Federal Government has allocated a substantial N28.777 trillion.
Notably, Lagos stands out as the only state with a budget surpassing a trillion Naira, proposing N2.246 trillion, yet to be approved by the House of Assembly.
Other leading states include Akwa Ibom (N845.632 billion), Rivers (N800.3 billion), Delta (N725 billion), and Ogun (N703.028 billion).
Additionally, several states have budgeted over N400 billion, with a range of spending plans aimed at addressing the diverse needs and challenges within their respective regions.
