The reassurance from the minister follows the release of a 25-man squad list by Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro, on Friday, marking a significant step in the team’s preparations for the highly anticipated tournament. Sen. Enoh emphasized that the presidency is keen on ensuring a triumphant outing for the team and pledged to provide all necessary support.
“We are hoping that we are going to make the best out of it. We have the full backing of the president,” stated Sen. Enoh, highlighting the collective determination for success.
The minister underscored the significance of a potential fourth AFCON title for the Super Eagles, recognizing the pride and honor it would bring to the nation. The last triumph for the team occurred a decade ago in South Africa, making the upcoming tournament a crucial opportunity for a remarkable achievement.
