BREAKING: Operation Delta Safe’s Air Strikes-Obliterate 6 Illegal Oil Refining Sites In Rivers State (Videos)
The Air Component of Operation Delta Safe conducted air strikes that obliterated six illegal oil refining sites in Opu Arugbana, located in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State. According to Gabkwet, the illegal sites were identified clustered within an approximately 80-meter radius, situated about six nautical miles south of Opu Arugbana. After confirming their active status, authorization was granted to destroy the six sites, aiming to deter criminals from engaging in illegal activities.
Despite the festive season, air operations against criminals in the Niger Delta and other parts of the country continue without interruption. Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, spent Christmas day with troops in the Northeast and is currently in Katsina to celebrate with troops of Operation Hadarin Daji. He commended the efforts of the Air Component Commanders in all theaters of operation, urging them not to relent until criminal activities are significantly reduced.
