In a video obtained by Nivo News, the senior lawyer expressed concern about the absence of a single lawmaker from her home state of Plateau among the committee members. However, she found solace in the presence of a senator from Kaduna State on the team.
Justice Sankey went on to explain that her husband is originally from Kaduna State, and, in her perspective, the senators from Kaduna were also considered her husbands. She stated, “I come from Plateau State. I have noticed that I don’t have any representative backing me here. But, my state by marriage is Kaduna State. I’m very happy to see that I have a representative, my husband, Senator Sunday Marshal here; he’s from Kaduna State, and I consider them my husbands.”
