In an official statement released on Sunday, the hospital’s management made it clear that there are currently no ongoing interview processes. They urged the public, especially those in search of employment, to be cautious and avoid individuals falsely claiming to facilitate job opportunities at FMC, Jalingo.
The warning, signed by Agev Joseph Terlumun, the head of the hospital’s public relations unit, stressed the importance of alerting the public to the deceitful actions of fraudsters who, pretending to be associated with the hospital, exploit desperate individuals by promising non-existent job opportunities.
The statement underscored the hospital’s commitment to following the employment procedures mandated by the Federal Government. It encouraged the public to exercise caution when approached by those claiming to offer job opportunities.
Emphasizing that legitimate employment initiatives would be properly publicized, the statement assured that the hospital would strictly adhere to government-approved rules and regulations.
The management clarified that the entire employment process at FMC is free of charge. Neither the Chief Medical Director (CM) nor any member of the management team would request financial inducements from potential employees.
Expressing concern about the prevalence of such fraudulent activities, the public was urged in the statement to promptly report any encounters with job racketeers to relevant law enforcement agencies.
The hospital reassured the public of its commitment to upholding the integrity of its employment procedures and urged citizens to remain cautious, reporting any suspicious activities promptly.
