Governor Nwifuru emphasized the commitment to addressing the needs of the people, including those engaged in hawking across different parts of the country. The plan for 2024 involves providing various skills to such individuals. The governor also highlighted the focus on qualitative education, with significant investments in the education sector. Initiatives include sponsoring at least 300 graduates for master’s programs and revitalizing primary and secondary school levels.

In the breakdown presented by Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Leonard Uguru, the budget comprises N132.8 billion for capital expenditure and N71.3 billion for recurrent expenditure.
