During an official visit from the Polish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs Joana Tarnawska, Governor Otti conveyed his delight at the prospect of collaboration with the Polish Government. Otti emphasized Abia’s significance for partnerships, citing the state’s prominence in agriculture and ambitious goals in education.

He outlined plans to standardize the education system from primary to tertiary levels, underscoring the administration’s dedication to education, healthcare, and security.
Governor Otti highlighted Aba’s status as an industrial hub and urged increased government support to enhance entrepreneurial endeavors that can compete globally.
Ambassador Tarnawska, acknowledging the abundant opportunities in Nigeria, expressed Poland’s interest in deepening cooperation, especially in areas like agriculture, building on the memorandum of understanding signed during the President of Poland’s visit to Nigeria the previous year.
