Recognizing agriculture as the backbone of the region’s economy and livelihoods, Governor Zulum emphasized the necessity for reinforcement. He also advocated for collaboration with key stakeholders to support an industrial development program, fostering the utilization of local resources.
Expressing gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his efforts in promoting peace and security, Governor Zulum acknowledged the diverse challenges faced by the region, including safeguarding lives, addressing poverty, and tackling unemployment. He emphasized the need for a collective commitment to creating wealth, exploring various avenues to engage the youth and reduce unemployment rates.
Host Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State highlighted the forum’s role in propelling sustainable development in the region over the past four years, citing numerous successes and advancements.
