In a statement released on Friday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, it was asserted that Governor Lawal’s election was a response to dissatisfaction with the prevailing conditions in the state. The statement emphasized that the March 18 election accurately reflected the people’s desire for positive development and progress.
Governor Lawal conveyed his perspective, stating, “The ruling by the Appeal Court is a temporary setback. However, I remain optimistic that the collective decision of the people will ultimately prevail.” He added, “We will emerge victorious.
