The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Governor Hope Uzodinma of the APC as the winner in Imo, while Usman Ododo, also of the ruling party, secured victory in the governorship polls in Kogi State on Saturday.
In a statement released on Monday by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed gratitude to the people of both states for reaffirming their trust in the APC.
