In Kogi State, Dino Melaye, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emerged victorious in his polling unit, securing 210 votes. His main opponent, Ahmed Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), trailed behind with 22 votes, while Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) secured 7 votes.
Before the election results were announced, Melaye had raised concerns, alleging that result sheets were pre-filled across all polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government areas of the state.
