Popular musician, Habeeb Okikiola, who is better known as Portable, has leveled accusations against his fellow artist, Carterefe, claiming that Carterefe has “taken” his artist, Young Duu. Young Duu recently parted ways with Portable’s record label, Zeh Nation, and released a joint track titled ‘Oyinmo’ with Carterefe on November 8, 2023.
In an Instagram live session with his fans, Portable asserted that Carterefe is exploiting his former protege, Young Duu, as a means of pressuring him, especially since he’s preparing to release his album. Speaking in Pidgin, Portable expressed, “Hello ladies and gentlemen, Carterefe and his team know that I’ve announced my upcoming album, and that’s why they’re trying to manipulate the situation by using my protege, Young Duu, against me. The boy I nurtured in the industry and treated like my own has been taken away from me. This world can be quite ruthless.”
