Nigerians React As FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, Highlights President Bola Tinubu’s Role As Leader Of Nigeria Beyond APC....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Nyesom Wike, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu is not merely the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) but, more significantly, the leader of Nigeria. He made these remarks during a visit by APC leaders from Rivers State, led by Mr. Victor Giadom, the National Vice Chairman of APC, South South, in Abuja on Thursday.
Wike acknowledged that while President Tinubu governs Nigeria, he should also consider the interests of his political party. He stressed that political parties are vehicles that facilitate one’s journey to a desired destination, but the welfare of Nigerians should always take precedence in the mind of President Tinubu.
The minister commented, “Mr. president, having emerged, is not a president of APC but a president of Nigeria. While he is governing Nigeria, he must also take the interest of his political party, and nobody can stop it; it is natural. In governance, every Nigerian must benefit from it. We need to understand that the party is a vehicle that takes you to a place, and once you get to where you want to be, you come out from the vehicle.”
He commended President Tinubu’s capacity and political will to make decisions that others may be hesitant to take.
Responding to the Supreme Court’s verdict affirming Tinubu’s election, Wike expressed his commitment to supporting the President, regardless of his political affiliation. He emphasized his dedication to equity, fairness, and justice, stating that “the Nigerian state does not belong to a particular person or a particular group.”
During the visit, Giadom thanked the minister for his significant support of the APC presidential candidate during the election and encouraged Wike to continue supporting the Tinubu-led administration. Giadom expressed his confidence in Wike’s capacity to deliver as the first person from Rivers to hold the position. He also acknowledged the appointment of a Rivers native to a prominent office by President Tinubu, pledging the loyalty and support of Rivers APC members for the success of the “renewed hope agenda.”

“Inside The Power Play: Governors Privately Plotting Against Tinubu As 2027 Tensions Explode!”.

Constitutional Strategy: To satisfy the constitutional requirement of securing the highest number of votes alongside at least 25% of the vote in two-thirds of the states, Momodu believes Atiku will comfortably reach the 25% threshold in at least 26 states.
-
Strategic Consolidation: According to Momodu, the North has made a “strategic” move by ensuring no strong northern leader remains to compete against Atiku, with Kwankwaso now positioned as a running mate.
-
Shifting Political Allegiances: Unlike the 2023 election, Momodu suggested that the North now views anyone not supporting Atiku as a “traitor,” a dynamic he believes creates a different political landscape for 2027.
-
Southern Competition: Momodu expressed confidence that Atiku would effectively navigate the southern political terrain, specifically highlighting Osun State as an area where the candidate would perform well.
