Breaking: Gift Orban’s Position As Belgium’s Most Valued Player Comes To An End
Breaking: Gift Orban’s Position As Belgium’s Most Valued Player Comes To An End....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Gift Orban, the Nigerian striker, is relinquishing his position as the most valuable player in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season. Unlike the previous season, where Gift Orban was arguably the most talked-about and sought-after footballer in Belgium, the 21-year-old Nigerian international is gradually diminishing in significance within the league.
Orban is presently enduring the most challenging goal drought of his career, having failed to find the net in nine consecutive matches – six in the Jupiler Pro League, two in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds, and one in the Europa Conference League group stage.
The striker has only managed to score twice in nine league games this season (six in 15 games overall), a far cry from his astonishing record of 45 goals in 61 games since his arrival in Europe over a year ago.
Before his form declined to this extent, he held the title of the most valuable player in Belgium as of June 2023, with a valuation of €20 million, according to the German football statistics website Transfermarkt.
However, Orban, who is currently under contract with the Belgian side Genk until 2027, has now surrendered the title of the most valuable player in the country. It has been claimed by Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren of Antwerp, who is valued at €25 million, five million euros more than the Nigerian.
Antonio Nusa, a Nigerian-born Norwegian forward with a current valuation of €20 million, stands as the second most valuable player in Belgium.
The value of Club Brugge forward Nusa, who has participated in 13 games across all competitions and already contributed two goals and three assists, has purportedly surged by €16 million.
Orban has now become the third-most expensive player in Belgium as he has experienced a gradual decline in his illustrious career at Genk, following his inability to secure the highly anticipated high-profile transfer during the last summer transfer window.
Bilal El Khannouss and Andreas Olsen round out the list of the top five players in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, with Transfermarkt indicating that Olsen and El Khannouss are both valued at €18 million.
