Breaking: Supreme Court Sets Date For Final Rulings On Atiku And Peter Obi’s Election Petitions....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Supreme Court has scheduled Thursday, October 26, as the day for delivering the ultimate judgments in the petitions lodged by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
These presidential candidates have raised concerns regarding the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the victor of the 2023 presidential election, a declaration made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). President Tinubu’s victory had also been affirmed by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).
Atiku’s petition focuses on allegations of President Tinubu’s forgery of his Chicago State University certificate, seeking the removal of President Tinubu from office. The Supreme Court’s Director of the Press and Information, Dr. Awemeri Festus Akande, confirmed the ruling date on Wednesday and assured that security measures were in place to prevent any breaches within and around the court premises.
A 7-member panel of Justices, led by Justice John Inyang Okoro, received final arguments from the parties’ lawyers on Monday and subsequently reserved their judgments. Other members of the panel include Justices Uwani Abba-Aji, Mohammed Lawal Garba, Adamu Jauro, Ibrahim Saulawa, Tijani Abubakar, and Emmanuel Agim.
