Renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that the Lagos State Police Command has interrogated Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. Mohbad’s passing on September 12, 2023, had raised questions due to the circumstances surrounding it.

As part of the ongoing investigations into the singer’s untimely death, the police have apprehended several suspects, including the auxiliary nurse who attended to him before his passing, Feyisoya Ogedengbe, Sam Larry, Naira Marley, Primeboy, and others connected to the case.

However, there has been public demand for Mohbad’s wife to be interrogated, with the belief that she may possess valuable information relevant to the investigations.

In response to these calls, Iyabo Ojo, in a Tuesday Instagram post, shared that Mohbad’s wife has already been interrogated on three separate occasions. Two of these instances occurred on the day when Mohbad’s father was televised addressing the public about the case, along with his mother and wife, who were subsequently sent to Panti for further interrogation and to provide statements. Another interrogation took place on September 21, which led to the absence of Mohbad’s wife when Tonto Dike and Senator Ishaku Abbo visited.

Furthermore, Iyabo Ojo clarified that the CCTV camera installed at Mohbad’s residence had never been connected for use and lacked both a BVR (Backup Video Recorder) and a Hard Disk.
