The gruesome killing of three individuals in Ijoko community, Ota area of Ogun State, has sent shockwaves across Nigeria as outraged citizens react to the brutal violence that occurred as a result of what is believed to be a renewed clash between rival cult gangs.

Reports indicate that the attackers savagely hacked their victims to death, leaving their dismembered remains in an abandoned building. In an even more disturbing detail, the killers severed the left hands of the deceased, two of whom have been identified as suspected members of the Eiye Confraternity.

The incident was reported by a community leader in Abibatun Toronbi community, Ijoko, to the Ijoko Police Station. Ogun State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident in a press release, outlining the police’s efforts to investigate the killings and maintain the security of the area. Odutola highlighted the importance of community involvement in combating cultism and ensuring the safety and security of residents.
