Ogbu Johnson, an emerging Nigerian actor, has addressed and refuted any allegations of him infringing on Zubby Michael’s rights during their collaboration on a film set.

After a video of their on-set altercation went viral, Zubby Michael and Ogbu Johnson became a hot topic of discussion online.

Destiny Etiko, a well-known friend and supporter of Zubby Michael, responded to the situation amid the online buzz. She passionately advised aspiring actors to show respect to seasoned veterans who have successfully established themselves as A-list stars.

On October 9, Ogbu Johnson took to Instagram to clarify any misunderstandings regarding the supposed conflict between him and Zubby.

In a public statement, he explained that the public had misinterpreted their altercation with Zubby and mistaken it for a real fight. Ogbu emphasized that the video circulating online was merely a well-executed scene from an upcoming film.

Johnson clarified that their staged confrontation was intended to showcase their acting skills and enhance the level of cinematic performances.

Ogbu made it clear that he harbored no ill intentions in response to Destiny Etiko’s implied suggestion that he had disrespected Zubby Michael, followed by Zubby’s subsequent warning.

He emphasized that his commitment to portraying his character as directed by the filmmaker was his sole motivation.

Ogbu did not shy away from subtly poking fun at Destiny Etiko, insinuating that her comments were an attempt to sow discord between him and Zubby.

In his words:

“Some individuals have attempted to create a division between myself and my senior brother and industry boss by suggesting that I acted disrespectfully in interpreting my role to the director’s satisfaction, thus trying to sow discord between us. I make this statement to dispel any doubts that I have no intention of disrespecting Zubby Michael, my senior colleague, and I will not do such a thing.”

To conclude, Ogbu extended a genuine apology to Zubby Michael, expressing regret if the trending video of their fictional altercation had caused any undue harm to Zubby’s personal image and reputation.
