Buhari’s Government Failed To Deliver On Its Promises
Buhari’s Government Failed To Deliver On Its Promises....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Solomon Dalung, the former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, has characterized the tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari as a “failure.” According to Dalung, the Buhari administration fell far short of meeting the expectations of Nigerians and fulfilling its pledges to address security concerns, rejuvenate the economy, and combat corruption.
In an interview with Trust Radio, Dalung, who served under Buhari’s administration, stated that Buhari did not deliver on the promises made to Nigerians during his 2015 campaign. He emphasized that, as a founding member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), he feels obligated to speak the truth and is not being hypocritical.

Dalung remarked, “We failed to meet our expectations, and I am not hypocritical because as a major stakeholder who campaigned vigorously in 2015 and went to the nooks and crannies of the north, of all the promises we made, we fulfilled none of them. The political covenant we had with Nigerians while campaigning was that we were going to address the security situation; we were going to revamp the economy, and we were going to give corruption a major technical blow so that we could minimize it to the barest minimum. Looking back, reflecting, and evaluating the situation as it is today, we failed woefully.”
He also described Buhari as an honest leader who had faith in the integrity of those around him but had his reputation tarnished by those he trusted. Dalung believed that Buhari was now regretting his trust in these individuals.
Dalung noted that while there was modest progress during the early years of the Buhari administration between 2015 and 201, the security situation has significantly deteriorated since then, particularly in terms of banditry and terrorism.
In conclusion, he viewed this as a significant failure and an indictment of the APC, as these issues were not part of the democratic commitments they made to the Nigerian people.
