In a statement released on Saturday by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria to air the speech.

President Tinubu recently returned to the country after attending the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where he emphasized the importance of democratic ideals in Africa’s quest to overcome foreign exploitation and achieve prosperity.

During a courtesy visit in Osogbo shortly after Zungura assumed office, Governor Adeleke, in a statement by his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, urged the new CP to reorganize the command, improve police-community relations, and take decisive steps to correct behaviors that have led to perceptions of partisanship within the force.

“I therefore have specific requests as part of our efforts to consolidate peace and state reconciliation: Let us rebuild public trust in the police. You must make deliberate efforts to remove many areas of current police conduct that paint it as partisan and anti-people,” Governor Adeleke stated.
