He reiterated IBEDC’s dedication to contributing to national development by providing exceptional services and closing the metering gap within its operational area.

Engineer Achife assured that IBEDC has implemented measures to ensure smooth service delivery during the public holiday and to promptly address any electrical faults that may arise. Moreover, the company’s customer care line (07001239999) will remain accessible to respond to complaints and reports.

He also urged motorists to exercise caution during the celebrations, refraining from driving under the influence of alcohol and adhering to traffic regulations to prevent accidents involving electric poles and other hazards. Additionally, IBEDC urged customers to join the fight against energy theft, which encompasses meter tampering and electricity theft, emphasizing that such actions undermine the integrity of the electricity distribution system and hinder national development.

Engineer Achife encouraged customers to utilize IBEDC’s hassle-free payment options, including iRecharge, Quickteller, Payarena, Jumia, Watu, Buypower, and ATMs, for convenient bill settlement and meter recharging. IBEDC offices will also remain open during the holiday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to efficiently serve customers.
