Soludo Suspended School Principals For Defying Anambra’s Free Education Policy....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has taken action against four school principals in the state who defied the “free education policy” of the state government, resulting in their suspension.
The state Ministry of Education’s Public Relations Officer, Nnaemeka Egwuonwu, revealed this development in a statement on Tuesday.
The decision to suspend these principals was conveyed by the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, as detailed in the statement: “Governor Soludo has temporarily relieved four school principals of their duties due to their failure to adhere to Anambra State Government’s solution-free education policy.”
“The affected principals are Nkem Nkechi of Washington Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha; Onwurah Catherine of Kenneth Dike Secondary School, Awka; Dr. Cordelia Okonkwo of New Era Secondary School, Onitsha; and Amaka Ubaka of Prince Memorial High School, Onitsha. They have been accused of violating the state’s solution-free education policy.

“Commissioner Chuma-Udeh explained that a committee has been formed to investigate the actions of these principals. Furthermore, she noted that if they are found guilty, they will be required to reimburse the collected fees.
“It is perplexing that despite numerous announcements by the Governor about the Solution-Free Education Policy, the principals are alleged to have disregarded the policy.”
Governor Soludo had previously proclaimed that, consistent with the solution-free education policy, no child from early childhood education and development through Junior Secondary School should be charged any fees whatsoever. Additionally, the policy was discussed in greater detail by the governor during a meeting with principals and headteachers at the International Conference Centre, Awka, on Saturday.
