Could Have Been A Platform For Youth-Driven Problem Solving....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Seun Anikulapo Kuti, a renowned Afrobeats artist, has proposed that BBNaija should have been conceived as a reality program where young individuals contribute solutions to Nigeria’s problems.

In a recent interview with Spade TV Africa, hosted by Gbenga Aborowa, the controversial rapper put forth this idea.

According to Seun, the organizers of the reality TV show initially intended it solely for entertainment purposes, but it could have been oriented towards the betterment of Nigeria.

He pointed out that the show’s current format was likely influenced by financial considerations, but it could have been structured to promote alternative solutions to the various challenges facing Nigeria.

Furthermore, Seun suggested that instead of focusing on the housemates, the program could have encouraged them to provide solutions, with the youth-dominated audience voting for the most viable proposal.

Seun elaborated, stating, “Big Brother Naija is the way it is because of the investment that is put into it. It was designed by certain people to be that way. The individuals behind Big Brother could have chosen to create a show where young people engage in discussions about the country’s issues and propose solutions. Other young people and viewers could then vote for the best solution. This would mean a shift from entertainment to addressing issues related to national development, investing in solutions for the betterment of the nation.”
