The government of Ogun State has implemented a curfew in Sagamu, the administrative center of Sagamu Local Government Area within the state. This curfew has been prompted by recent clashes between rival cult groups engaged in a supremacy battle since last Wednesday, resulting in a tragic toll of at least 20 lives lost.
The curfew encompasses a restriction on both human and vehicular movement, effective from 7 pm to 6 am. This decision has been communicated through a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Lekan Adeniran, and distributed to the media in Abeokuta.
