The news was shared via the Nigerian Army’s official Twitter handle, @HQNigerianArmy. In a statement, the army indicated that this development is in line with the determination of Major General AE Abubakar, the Commander of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), to bring all criminals in Southern Kaduna and its environs to justice.
The arrested suspect, identified as Lot Dauda, reportedly confessed to the crime and implicated an accomplice who is currently at large. The arrest was made possible through a manhunt initiated by OPSH, following credible intelligence.
