Over the years, Bishop Williams and PREMI have played a significant role in prison reform efforts in Nigeria, changing the lives of over 2500 ex-convicts and raising awareness about the importance of rehabilitation within the correctional system. Despite the challenges posed by a society often skeptical of ex-convicts, Bishop Williams continues to passionately pursue his mission.

Recently, he signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prof. Ishaq Akintola of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) to collaborate on raising awareness about prison reform, transcending religious boundaries for a common cause. Both individuals, despite their religious differences, share a vision of a better Nigeria and are committed to improving the prison system for the benefit of all citizens.

Adewara said the PDP would not remain silent while what he called “political narratives” are used to influence public perception around a tragic incident that claimed multiple lives in Offa in 2018.
