Many Killed As NAF Bombs Terrorist Leader Mallam Ila’s Camp.

During “Operation Hadarin Daji,” aircraft from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) neutralized seven prominent terrorists who were being led by Mallam Ila.
The strikes took place over the weekend at the terrorist stronghold, which is located about 9 kilometers to the east of Manawa Village in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. They were conducted as part of attempts to clear the North West of Nigeria of terrorist operations.
Numerous explosions with enormous fireballs were seen following the airstrike on the target, which was indicative of the presence of other highly combustible materials concealed in the area.
Seven terrorists were revealed to have been killed during the battle, but Mallam Ila narrowly escaped with critical injuries.
Military officials claimed that because of his proximity to and affiliation with terrorist leaders Bello Turji and Dan Bokoyo, Mallam Ila continues to be a high-value target.
Attacks across areas of Kaduna, Niger, Kebbi, and Sokoto States as well as the Shinkafi general area of Zamfara State were carried out by foot soldiers from Ila, Turji, and Bokoyo.
The NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the strikes and vowed to continue “strikes on important terrorists and their hideouts until all areas are free of enemies of the State.”
The NAF and other security agencies are still on schedule to bring the ongoing counterterrorism endeavor to a successful conclusion, he claims.
