On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the old North Central city of Lafia, capital of Nasarawa State, will be in a frenzy as the Labour Party Presidential Campaign launches its rally ahead of the 2023 general election.
Dr. Doyin Okupe, the National Campaign Council’s Director General, predicted the rally will be huge and educational on Friday.
According to a release from the Obi-Datti Media office, Okupe claimed that by participating in the rally, Nasarawa and other states in the North would be making their presence known in the area and discreetly conveying the message that the Obidient family was present everywhere.
The DG claims that the Obidient Movement is complete and all-inclusive. They have declared their arrival into politics since Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmad were announced as the Labour Party’s vice presidential and presidential candidates in June.

Okupe pointed out that the Obidient Movement had been organizing rallies across the nation to announce Nigerians’ determination to retake their nation, and that what was occurring in Nasarawa State on Saturday was analogous to the party and the Campaign Council supporting the Nigerian youths who had been traveling the nation since June 2022.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Many Nigerians, according to him, were encouraged by the youths’ extraordinary patriotism and fervor for the Obidient movement, which gave them hope that their country might be rebuilt.

Those expected to address the Lafai rally on Saturday include but not limited to the presidential candidate and his vice, the Director General of the Campaign, Chairman of the National Campaign Council, retired AIG Mohammad Zarewa, and the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade Julius Abure, who serves as the Chairman Advisory Council of the Campaign . All the gubernatorial, national and state Assembly candidates of the party from the North Central zone of the country are also expected.
