In a statement released by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, in Osogbo on Sunday, Adeleke revealed this during a technical meeting of his Policy Coordination Unit.
Adeleke expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback received from the public, highlighting that the people of the state have rated his administration highly in areas such as workers’ welfare, infrastructure, health, and education.
He emphasized the need for meticulous policy design and execution, stressing that his administration’s innovative policies across various sectors must be effectively harnessed under the five-point agenda.
“I am largely satisfied with our programme implementation so far. We have surpassed expectations and targets within one and a half years in office. We just need to redouble our efforts as we face mid-term in the next six months,” Adeleke remarked.
“Our people have gladly given us an A-rating in workers’ welfare, infrastructure, health, education, and many more. We must express our appreciation to our people.”
He also highlighted the growing support for his party across local governments and emphasized the importance of balancing physical infrastructure development with human development.
The Policy Coordination Unit, operating within the Governor’s office, reports directly to the Chief of Staff to the governor.
