Dollar Hits ₦1,450 As Naira Wobbles Again In Black Market.
The Nigerian Naira continued to struggle against the United States Dollar on Monday, November 3, 2025, as traders in the Lagos parallel market exchanged the greenback at ₦1,450 to one dollar. According to Nivo News, Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in major commercial hubs bought dollars at ₦1,445 and sold at ₦1,450, reflecting slight pressure on the local currency.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Meanwhile, at the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) window, the dollar traded between ₦1,430 and ₦1,440. The CBN, however, maintains that it does not recognize the parallel market, urging Nigerians to conduct foreign exchange transactions through authorized financial institutions.
Currency analysts note that variations in market rates depend on location and demand, meaning the prices for buying or selling forex may differ slightly from those recorded in this report.
