Founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called on Nigerians to intensify prayers as the country approaches the New Year. The cleric made the appeal on Tuesday during a press briefing at The Achievers Cathedral, Oke-Afa, Lagos, where he unveiled his annual prophetic message titled “Divine Message for the Year 2025, 2026 and Beyond.”....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

According to Ayodele, his warnings are intended not to create fear but to encourage spiritual reflection and proactive prayer, emphasizing that divine intervention can avert negative outcomes. He stated, “Whenever God reveals alarming developments about Nigeria, its economy, politics, leadership, and traditional institutions, I pray against them. Prayer can reverse negative prophecies.”

On the political front, Ayodele predicted heightened rivalry ahead of the 2027 general elections, noting that performance and credibility, rather than party affiliation, would dominate the contest. He warned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may face resistance from some northern political elders and urged him to strengthen alliances across the South-east, North-central, and North-east regions.

The cleric highlighted potential political tensions in the North, including attacks on campaign convoys and political billboards. He also predicted that vote-buying and electoral manipulation could become prominent, with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission exposing several politicians, which may trigger resistance against the agency.

Ayodele further cautioned former Vice President Atiku Abubakar about possible blackmail and warned President Tinubu against betrayal by trusted allies and elder statesmen. He added that certain top government officials could face indictment or removal.

On security matters, the cleric forecasted a mixture of peace and betrayal within the country’s security architecture, urging prayers against aviation accidents, including emergency landings and military aircraft incidents.

Economically, Ayodele warned of instability in electricity supply, frequent grid failures, and rising energy costs. Treasury bills, he noted, could challenge some banks, but he also projected growth in tourism, improvements in cybersecurity, and the possible creation of a new state.

Globally, he cautioned against rising geopolitical tensions, suggesting that some African and Asian nations might pursue nuclear capabilities. He predicted strained relations between the United States and major technology companies, tensions between Iran and the European Union, and a standoff between NATO and Russia. He also warned that Nigeria’s relationship with France could threaten national sovereignty if not carefully managed.

Responding to questions from journalists, Ayodele dismissed allegations of intimidation or external influence, emphasizing that his mission is guided solely by divine instruction, not personal gain. “I don’t make prophecies for money or fame. If you like it, take it. If you don’t, leave it,” he said.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to remain hopeful, prayerful, and upright, stressing that true national transformation begins with spiritual renewal.
