Looking back on her early days in the industry, Niniola recalled facing numerous rejections. However, she said the unwavering support of her family and friends gave her the strength to persevere.
“First of all, I had to respect and believe in myself and in God. My family and friends kept telling me I was good, and eventually, I believed it. So when I heard ‘no,’ I didn’t quit. I cried, it hurt, but I made up my mind to become so good that no one could question my talent,” she said.
To sharpen her craft, Niniola joined a live band, where she mastered the art of live performance — an experience she described as a turning point in her artistic growth.
She also expressed gratitude for the opportunities that allowed her to evolve both personally and professionally.
“I’m thankful to God and to everyone who gave me a chance — people who helped me discover and rediscover myself,” she added.
On a personal note, Niniola spoke fondly of her late father and her childhood years, saying, “I miss my dad. I was his favourite. I miss those innocent times — no bills, just family and peace.”
