The confrontation, which took place on Sunday, drew significant media attention. Laide Bakare accused Badmus of disrespect and claimed she played a pivotal role in launching her career when others allegedly shunned her due to her appearance.

In a post shared via Instagram on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Badmus chose a tone of reconciliation. She emphasized the importance of unity within the entertainment industry, urging her colleagues to reject envy and competition in favor of collaboration and mutual respect.

“Life teaches us that true strength lies not in conflict but in unity,” she wrote. “We may have faced tension or walked different paths, but it’s time to let love lead. Your success does not diminish mine, just as mine doesn’t take from yours.”
