Yhemolee Encourages Men To Be Emotionally Available And Kind During Wife’s Pregnancy

Yhemolee, who recently welcomed their first child, shared intimate moments of their pregnancy journey. He acknowledged the difficulties but stressed that men should approach their wives’ conditions with kindness and understanding.
Reflecting on some of the more challenging moments, Yhemolee humorously recalled how his wife would get upset, especially over minor things like his choice of clothes when going out. He realized, however, that her frustration stemmed from missing his presence, and he made adjustments to be more emotionally and physically available.
He wrote, “To be honest, it’s the least we can do. They’re already dealing with a lot. It wasn’t always easy; I had my shortcomings too, especially when she was away. She would get upset about everything, like me dressing up to go out or seeing me in videos having fun while she was at home. I once yelled, ‘Should I just stay home and do nothing?’”
Yhemolee emphasized that while it’s impossible to be perfect, it’s essential to be present and supportive. He concluded, “Irritated? For something that I helped create? A sensible man shouldn’t get irritated by that.”

The father of six spoke candidly about choices he regrets and moments he wishes he could handle differently.
2Baba also addressed a past incident in London involving an argument with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, which led to his arrest in October 2025. He took full responsibility for his actions, describing the situation as a moment of anger that got out of hand.
“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he admitted.
The singer reflected on the challenges of managing personal pressures and the lessons learned from experiences that tested him. He acknowledged that, as a human being, emotions sometimes influence decisions, and he wishes he had approached some situations more carefully.
“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick-skin is weaker now,” he said.

Speaking on Yanga FM Nigeria, Omotola described the episode as a pivotal moment in her career. She explained that the restriction affected eight prominent actors at the time, including herself, Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, Stella Damasus, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nkem Owoh, and one other actor.
The ban prevented them from working with certain film marketers, limiting their participation in movie projects. While marketers claimed the actors were having a negative impact on the industry, Omotola said the real issue was their push for higher filmmaking standards, which unsettled some industry gatekeepers.
She noted that the duration of the ban varied, with some actors returning after about a year. Omotola’s ban lasted longer because she skipped a meeting arranged to resolve the conflict, further straining her relationship with the marketers.
During the downtime, Omotola stayed productive by venturing into music, releasing her first album, and expanding her business interests, including property investments. She emphasized that the period helped her grow in other areas despite the setback in acting.
Reflecting on the experience, she said it taught her to explore new paths rather than dwell on things beyond her control. “The first 8 were me, Genevieve, Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, Stella Damasus, RMD, Nkem Owoh, and one other person. We were 8, they just banned us,” she recalled.
