I Don’t Like Seeing My Family Anymore” – Streamer Peller Opens Up on Emotional Burnout

Nigerian content creator and online personality, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has spoken candidly about the emotional and mental toll of carrying his family’s financial burden at a young age.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a heartfelt conversation with fellow TikTok influencer Sandra Benede, the 19-year-old expressed his deep exhaustion, revealing that despite having both parents and older siblings alive, he has become the sole breadwinner of his household. This unexpected responsibility, he said, has left him feeling more like a parent than a teenager.

Peller explained that the constant pressure has distanced him emotionally from his family. Although he continues to support them financially, he admitted he now avoids physical contact, preferring to provide for them from afar. “I don’t like seeing my family anymore. I just send them what they need to be okay,” he said.

Describing the toll on his mental health, Peller shared that he once slept overnight in his car due to stress. He said he feels mentally older than his parents and siblings, despite being the youngest. “Sometimes, I just want to run off to America and disappear. I don’t rest. I don’t feel okay,” he added.

He noted that he no longer feels the emotional attachment he once had, even to his mother, and only maintains communication through phone calls. “The only person I’d miss is Jarvis,” he said, referencing someone close to him.
