She reminded the Zamfara Governor of his position of power and authority, granted to him by the people, with one of his primary responsibilities being the protection and service of the citizens he leads.
In the face of such a grave threat of kidnapping and violence, Mrs. Ajayi expressed disappointment in witnessing a governor displaying indifference and negligence toward his constituents, as was evident in the actions of the Zamfara Governor.
She emphasized that a crisis of this magnitude necessitates leaders to stand resolutely and actively engage in crafting effective strategies to address immediate concerns and prevent future incidents.
Mrs. Ajayi concluded by stating, “It is disheartening to witness leaders shirking their responsibilities and failing to provide the essential support and protection required by their communities.”
