Engr. Chidomere Ndubuisi, a businessman and the Chief Executive Officer of Pamtech Group, has made a generous donation of books and shelves valued at Ten Million Naira to five secondary schools in Imo State. The beneficiary schools include Government Secondary School, Owerri; Development Secondary School, Owerri; Owerri Girls Secondary School, Owerri; Holy Ghost College, Owerri, and Ikenegbu Girls Secondary School, Owerri.
Ndubuisi announced this initiative during the inauguration of a Spelling Bee competition that he organized for schools in the state. He expressed his motivation for the donation, stating that it aims to foster a culture of reading among students and complement efforts to improve educational standards in the state.
He further explained that this project is aligned with the vision of his humanitarian foundation, “Defining a Decade for Adolescents,” which seeks to contribute to a better society through the promotion of quality education.
Ndubuisi emphasized the project’s dedication to equipping teenagers with the tools they need to shape their futures through quality education. The initiative includes introducing young minds to life-changing personal development books and teaching them the practical art of creating a vision board.
He highlighted the potential of these books to inspire young minds and set them on a path of growth and success, emphasizing that the impact of adolescents extends beyond books.
The event featured seasoned speakers who shared their personal experiences with the students, aiming to inspire them to become the best versions of themselves and underscored the importance of reading and self-education in shaping one’s future.
Ndubuisi stressed the power of knowledge and the pivotal role of books in the lives and development of young people. He encouraged adolescents to engage in consistent reading of self-development books, emphasizing that self-education is the true path to meaningful education.
He concluded by highlighting that the day’s activities included not only speeches and inspiration but also competitions and learning opportunities. The Spelling Bee competition and Reading Competition provided students with a platform to showcase their language and comprehension skills, contributing to a movement that seeks to redefine the future of adolescents by providing them with knowledge, inspiration, and vision for success.

According to INEC, Soludo, representing the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), secured 422,664 votes, defeating his closest contender, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes. Paul Chukwuma of the Young People’s Party (YPP) came third with 37,753 votes, while Labour Party candidate Dr. George Moghalu trailed with 10,576 votes.
Prof. Edoba Omoregie, State Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, announced the results on Sunday morning, stating that Soludo emerged victorious after obtaining the highest number of valid votes.
“I certify that I am the Returning Officer for the Anambra State governorship election held on November 8, 2025. The election was keenly contested, and a winner has emerged as the candidate with the highest number of votes. Therefore, I declare Chukwuma Soludo of APGA duly elected as Governor of Anambra State,” Prof. Omoregie said.
The election recorded a total of 2,802,790 registered voters, with 598,229 accredited voters. A total of 595,298 votes were cast, including 11,244 rejected votes.

Soludo maintained a commanding lead throughout the election, surpassing his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), by a wide margin. The election, conducted in 5,720 polling units, reinforced APGA’s dominance in the state as Soludo performed strongly in both rural and urban centers, sweeping major party strongholds.
Soludo amassed a total of 422,664 votes, while Ukachukwu garnered 99,445 votes. The results from key local government areas highlighted the scale of Soludo’s victory, including Dunukofia (APGA 14,892; APC 3,284), Awka North (APGA 15,895; APC 3,661), and Anambra West (APGA 71,365; APC 16,595). Other parties, including the Labour Party (LP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Young Progressives Party (YPP), and African Democratic Congress (ADC), trailed significantly.
The election outcome cements Soludo’s position for another term in office, reflecting widespread voter support across Anambra State.

Prince Sanusi Vows Full Rehabilitation Of FESTAC Roads, Boosts Local Employment

During a quarterly meeting with the Residents Association of Festac Town, Prince Sanusi confirmed that he has gained the support of the Lagos State government to undertake a comprehensive reconstruction of Second and Seventh Avenue roads. Meanwhile, the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) will handle the rehabilitation of First and Fourth Avenue roads to ensure durable results.
The chairman further stated that ongoing temporary repairs on inner roads would soon be replaced with full-scale rehabilitation. Residents were encouraged to submit four project proposals from each of the five communities for budget consideration and implementation.
Prince Sanusi, who has received recognition from residents, particularly transporters, for revitalizing the town, urged patience as tangible improvements continue to unfold. Streets are now being swept daily, refuse cleared, and additional environmental sanitation staff have been employed alongside the rehabilitation of the council’s refuse collection vehicle.
He also called on youths to take advantage of the current employment opportunities as a stepping stone toward broader prospects, emphasizing that his mission is to restore the dignity of Amuwo Odofin. Stressing his commitment to serving the people rather than any political party, Prince Sanusi encouraged residents to offer genuine advice and requests directly to his office.
